What lengths does the Litter Picker PRO Gel come in?
The Litter Picker PRO Gel is available in the standard 33”and longer 37″.

Is the handle made of rubber or plastic?
The handle is made of Latex free plastic with a comfortable non-slip grip.

Why is the handle squishy?
The handle has a soft gel texture. This is perfect for avoiding hand fatigue and repetitive strain when litter picking for longer periods. Also great for users who struggle to grip or have limited hand strength.

What is the difference between the PRO and the GEL?
The Litter Picker PRO Gel has been upgraded to a new specification gel handle – exclusive pressure relieving comfy-grip handle for sustained use.

Can it be used as a walking aid?
No, our Litter Pickers cannot be used as walking aids.

Big disappointment. Have had to tighten the tension chord 3 times as the chord either streched or knots slipped. On top of that, the pivot pin holding the trigger in place slipped out in the middle of a pick. luckily it didnt fall out altogether. I have also noticed that it doesnt have such a powerful grip, so trying to hoist a waterlogged botle out of the mud for example is not possible because it just slips out of the grips. I really dont find the gel grip any more comfortabe but that is just a personal preference.. Generally speaking, I now revert to the older, non gel grip version which has a more powerful grip and is generally far more reliable and resilliant.

I’m sorry that the Litter Picker Pro Gel didn’t meet your expectations, and I have passed your feedback on to our product development team so that the issues you’ve highlighted can be investigated. We recommend our Ranger litter picker for larger or heavier items such as water-filled bottles. The Ranger is specifically designed for more heavy-duty use, so you may find it better suits your needs.

The new gel feature makes this 100 times better than the old model. Really worth upgrading if you are still using those I no longer get blisters on my hands after use.

During this Covid-19 crisis I and the other Duckworth Worcestershire Trust’s – 131 volunteer litter wardens are using our daily walks for positive action, picking up the discarded street litter.
We are thankful for the great folding Litterpicker Pro litter pickers from Helping Hand to keep us at safe distance and protect us whilst we work keeping our local neighbourhoods clean and clear of litter.

Needed a litter picker for cleaning up squalid house – needed something serious! After reading the other positive reviews of this, it sounded just the job and by jove it is!
When you first pick it up, it feels a little too lightweight – but it’s strong and very comfortable. I thought I’d test what it could pick up – a ballpoint pen was no problem at all. Looking for something trickier, tried a business card, flat down. It picked it up, instantly. This is one seriously good litter picker-upper!
Really impressed! Having tried cheap and cheerful units, this is well worth the difference. Buy cheap, buy twice…
